There are some good bargains available in
pre-foreclosure and foreclosed homes. When homeowners do not make payments on their mortgage, their house can be
repossessed. Some homes are then owned by banks, the Veterans'
Administration or HUD (U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development). HUD
sells their inventory on a weekly or daily basis. Bids must be submitted
by a Realtor. All forms must be filled out precisely or the bid will not
be considered. Some HUD properties are good deals, many are not.
